The DMV's Premier Youth Track & Field Experience Returns
The 11th Annual Lightning Relays are back — Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, VA.
Hosted by the Dale City Lightning Track Club, this meet brings together the region's top young athletes to compete in individual events, relays, and two marquee challenges: the 200m Challenge and the Shot Put Challenge, each with special awards for first-place finishers in every age group.
The Mixed/Co-Ed 4x400m Relay returns this year, and high school athletes will have a last-chance opportunity to secure qualifying times for national-level meets.
With Fully Automatic Timing and a legacy of elite competition, the Lightning Relays are where the DMV shows up and shows out.
